This blog-based site is the official one designed to be tasty and nutritious for lazy stalkers and potential employers.
I live in the original Birmingham, occupying the specific niche of a Guardian-nodding, Private Eye subscribing, iPhone-stroking, photo-messing, non-owner of TV, car or cat with my girlfriend.
I fund this lifestyle by making web applications do things they’re not designed to for the STACK project in the Maths department of the University of Birmingham. I got my PhD in Computer Science from the same place in 2007. That was all about evolving bits to stick together. I code small projects for fun and occasionally cash in my workshop.
My particular slant comes from researching evolutionary computation and working with web technologies. Find my CV and more on my LinkedIn profile.
I used to (literally) juggle a lot. Now I’m more into taking photos. I’d love to be able to play the piano. I need to get back into reading too.
